Hull Campaign Surpasses $400,000 Ahead of GOP State Convention

March 4, 2026

RIO RANCHO, New Mexico – Gubernatorial candidate Gregg Hull announced today that his campaign has surpassed $400,000 raised as Republicans prepare to gather for this weekend’s New Mexico Republican Party convention.

The milestone marks a significant show of grassroots and statewide support heading into one of the most important moments of the primary election cycle.

“Our campaign is building real momentum because our message is resonating across New Mexico,” said Hull. “From Albuquerque to Las Cruces, from our rural communities to our growing suburbs, voters are ready for leadership focused on public safety, economic growth, and restoring accountability in Santa Fe.”

Hull, the longest-serving Mayor in Rio Rancho’s history, has centered his campaign on a platform that prioritizes public safety, strengthening border security, improving education, expanding access to healthcare, and creating an environment where businesses can grow and families can succeed.

Spokesman Ryan Saylor said the fundraising total reflects broad support from small business owners, community leaders, and individual donors across the state. The campaign has steadily expanded its delegate outreach and grassroots organizing operation in advance of the convention.

“Gregg has a proven record of delivering results,” Saylor said. “He turned Rio Rancho into one of the safest and most affordable cities in New Mexico. Donors and delegates alike recognize that he has the experience and executive leadership needed to bring that same success statewide.”

The New Mexico Republican Party convention will determine which candidates advance with strong support heading toward the June primary election. Hull’s campaign says the fundraising milestone underscores growing enthusiasm among Republican voters seeking a candidate with executive experience and a clear plan to move the state forward.

“As we head into convention weekend, we are confident in the strength of our coalition,” Hull added. “This campaign is about putting New Mexico first and delivering results for the people of our state.”
